I’m really excited to show my new portraits shot by up and coming photographer, Darshae Zamari. Darshae showed up on my Instagram feed and I absolutely loved the way he captured his subjects in a really refreshing way. Every two-three years, I try to update my images and keep myself current on these internet streets, so it was time for an upgrade! I wanted my images to look more relaxed and easy going compared to my last images and we definitely pulled it off. I wanted to start off with all black; a clean and sleek turtleneck with boots and slacks. I created a blue and black smokey eye using all Pat McGrath products and I was really inlove with how moody these came out! Darshae suggested we do soft, natural sun light and it looked really perfect with my outfit.

Second look, I wanted to show how I normally look on set and at work, so I toned down my makeup to feel more down to earth. I wanted my poses to feel more loose and care-free (which is very much not me, I can be up tight sometimes!) so it was nice to let it go and try a few new poses that I normally wouldn’t try. Darshae was a great coach, he helped me to stretch, move, shake my hair, just try new things that I was afraid to try! I thought I would look uncomfortable but I loved the way these came out.
